The Temple is one of the oldest temple in Hyderabad, having been bulit during time of Akkana and maddanna , the uncles of Bhakta Ramadas.The temple is located on the banks of Osmansagar Lake with serene environs with lush green trees and small rocks in a village called Chilkur. The Balaji Temple is located at Chilkur in the Hyderabad district. It is 17 km from Mehedipatnam.This temple does not accept any money, does not have a Hundi,no privileges for VVIPs.
This temple fought and won the right to stay out of government control.
Chilkur Balaji Temple attracts millions of pilgrims every year and is an ideal place for sequestered retreat and meditation.Sri Balaji Venkateshwara, the Pratyaksha Daiva in Kaliyuga, is thus available at Chilkur to shower blessings on His devotees who for any reason are unable to go to Tirupati.
Every devotee has to keep eyes open while doing darshan of God idol in the temple.
During a visit the devotee goes through the usual rituals of prayer, including 11 circumambulations of the inner shrine, and makes a vow. Once the wish is fulfilled devotees then walk 108 times around the sanctum sanctorum. The majority of wishes by devotees are Visa related, thus Chilkur Balaji is also referred to as 'Visa' Balaji.

My Ride :

Since last 3 years i was going to Chilkur Balaji Temple in December Month with my friend.
1 st Time we both didnt have any bike so went on APSRTC Bus.
2 nd Time my friend became owner For Karizma-R So 2nd time the day we planned unexpectedly that day Telangana Bandh so went on My Friends Bike.
3 rd Time Now am Proud Owner Of Royal Enfield Classic 350 so these time i decided to go on my bike there small clash between me and my friend about which bike so finally My Bike.

My Bull Clocked 100+ KMS that Day actual distance to chilkur balaji temple from my place is 38-40 KMS.But We went to Gandipet on return we touched Necklace road,Imax.

Started at 6:20 AM from my place this time went with my friend who stays 5 KMS away from my place.Winter Season Morning i was feeling very cool temperature is 7 to 9 Degrees i didnt wear any sweater or riding jacket .Time i wore Shoes reached my friend place around 6:40 due to winter didnt go at high speed.My Friend wore Sweater then we started towards Chilkur Balaji Temple.Reached Habsiguda Filled 200 INR Petrol then started towards mehdipatnam.we were very feeling so cold so i didnt crossed 70 - 80

Going to Chilkur finally reached chilkur around 7:45 AM.Didnt touched high speed only 60-70

When We Entered Near Temple Premise One Coconut Vendor coming with to take cocount from them.so i stopped my bull near car parking and taking rest on sitting on my bull time was 7:50 AM.After Rest Parked my Bull in Car Parking.Took Coconu from coconut vendor for 50 INR 2 Coconuts 2 Malas.We Left Our Footware There & we saw Tea Stall & Took Tea for 2 Key That Stupid Charged 25 INR i gave him new 100 INR Note That Stupid gave me all Cutted Notes so me and my friend clashed with that fellow so he returned fine notes after that Entered in temple Before entering in temple security stooped us to deposit our phones & cam in counter we acted as we are depositing over there and after some time that security didnt check us we entered in temple.Full Rush In Temple as it was Government Declared Holiday For 2days For Chirstmas By Telangana State Government.We went Near Coconut breaking after that started our pradkshans the saint is saying in mike that dont do all 108 pradkshans on this day because due to holiday there is full crowd but we didnt cared it by 12:00 PM we completed all our 108 Pradkshans after Pradkshans standed in queue for darshan it took 10-15 Minutes for darshan after darshan went to Lord Shiva Temple which is in temple after lord shiva went for Lord Hanuman Darshan.After Darshan we came out took our footware and started back after 2KMS we saw Tiffin Bandi We didnt have tiffin in moring so we stopped there and only Dosa is avaliable at that time so ordered 2 Dosa's.My Parked My Bull And Washed my Hands to have Dosa.
